Section(2) - Nexus Housing, 1991

In response to an invitation by the Japanese architect Arata Isozoki, this 244 units Nexus Housing Project in Fukuoka, Japan, is Rem Koolhaas/OMA's response to "introduce a new urban life in Japan".(The misspellings embedded in some of the images are kind of authentic!)

Section(1) - Wall, Millard House, 1923

Millard House, La Miniatura, in Pasadena, California, is the earliest in a series known as the Textile Block houses, designed by Wright in the 1920s.

This is going to be the first of my postings for Exercise - 2, a series of sectional investigation into our Coogee Oval Project in-the-making.
